Weekly Snippets: Maury's Company Christmas Party

"Family always comes first, second to God of course, And every week, I'll save a day to share about our week. I know someday Little S will thank me for this one.And I know someday I will love myself for making this one. You are always welcome to come and visit. And maybe drop some love along the way"  :)

Christmas parties have officially begun... Ding ding ding a Ling Dong...

Last Saturday December 10, we went to attend Maury's Christmas Party at Imperial Palace with his officemates and their families. I had a great time meeting everyone once again, after all we get to gather just twice in a year, on summer outing and Christmas party.

I got pregnant around same time with 4 other wives of Maury's office mates, came April last year, we gave birth one week at a time... Last year's Christmas party our babies were still crawling now they are around the place running and shouting.

The three of us gave birth to girls and only one gave birth to a boy.

In the car going there we talked to Little S and told her we were going to daddy's Christmas party and we are going to meet with great friends.
Mommy:  You have to greet everybody and say Hi and don't forget to "bless" the titas and titos.
Pia: Okey Ma.
Mommy: Don't be a snob. Don't be arte ok?
Pia: Okey Ma
To be honest with you, I didn't take the "ok Ma" seriously because this little girl only "bless" to whom she just feels like taking the hands to. She just can't be told. But surprisingly, when we got there she was all giddy and set for the party saying Hi and Hello to everyone, and taking the hands of the elders to pay respect "bless". I was sooooo proud of my baby girl, she absorbed everything I told her even though I wasn't so trustful at first. So sorry anak :(

Little S went up stage, danced and was calling everyone to dance with her, Giving candies to the other kids and tell them "kewful" when going up and down the stage. When she saw the lechon, she shouted "Mommy, yayay ang pig" hahahaha...

While everybody was praising how amazing she was that night, I was looking at my precious daughter and realized she's getting bigger and bigger everyday and everyday she is growing and learning new things. I was near to crying, I don't know why. Basta!

Hubby noticed I was emo that time, came to me and said "oh she is just so like you, "the life of the party", that made me smile:)

Here's a pic of hubby and the whole gang with kids.

During the Manito Manita exchange of gifts, the one who got Maury's name made an introduction about him. It goes like this:
My manito is a very good man, very responsible and bright.
(he paused a little bit) and continued
He is afraid of his wife. Always talking to her on the phone. Can you guess who my manito is?
The guys were looking at us. And I saw my husband blush hahahahah super cute he really blushed with "ako? me? really?

And everybody was right the person he was referring to was my husband. hahahahaha I laughed so hard. My husband came to the stage and said.
" I'm not afraid of her, I'm just obedient"
Everybody laughed. I did and he did too...

Our party girl is getting sleepy already but thank goodness she wasn't throwing tantrums, seems like she really likes partying hehehe...

In the car, on our way home...
Maury: "Babe, I'm not afraid of you?!?"
Me: " I don't know, are you"
Maury: "NO. Of course NOT!
I just love you so much"
Now, isn't that the sweetest thing?
