No Cook: Fruity Macaroni Salad (My Own Version)

How did this come about? I can't quite explain how but, I know Pangs loves macaroni salad while I want fruit salad. So I decided to make Fruity Macaroni, not the typical one since I only used whats in our pantry, but I tell you it taste good. Hubby loves it. Yay!

INGREDIENTS:

400g Elbow Macaroni - cooked per packed instruction
Fruit Mix - Drained
Mayonnaise
Salad and Sandwich Spreaad
All Purpose Cream
Nata de Coco
Cheese - diced

 Easy Steps:

Mix Mix Mix!!!!
Dry ingredients first, followed by the creams and spread.
I added cheese last.

See? easy peasy. Perfect for the beginners like me. I intend to keep learning how to cook as my personal goal for this year. I'll do my very best to learn one dish a week, I don't intend to let the loves of my life eat all "no Cook" food, eventually I have to move on. Stay with me in this journey. Will you?

A blessed Sunday Everyone.

No Cook: Mango Float

This is my third recipe for my 'No Cook' series. A challenge I made for myself, just to give me a little push on pursuing my dream as a cooking mama. Really? (hahaha...)

So here goes, my personal all time favorite, making it easy and enjoyable for me to do. Because Ahluvit!!!!

MANGO FLOAT.

Here are the INGREDIENTS I used:

This is my friend's recipe. Thanks Ann Hamoy for supporting me on this cooking project of mine.

Graham Crackers- I only used up One pack of it.
Crushed Graham
3 mangoes
1 pint mango ice cream
300 ml condensed milk
All purpose Cream

What I love about making this, is that it's so easy to make.

Simple as 1-2-3 :)

EASY STEPS:

First you have to mix: All Purpose Cream, Condense Milk and the Ice Cream into a bowl.

Then start making layers.

ONE. Graham crackers

TWO. Mangoes

THREE. Cream

Again... Graham.... Mangoes... Cream....
See? one two three. :)

At the topmost is where you put the crushed Graham and your done.

But since I have more mangoes left I placed it on top. I think it made it looked yummier. :)

See?

But the true test if I was successful is the judgement of my two critics. My nephew Kuya Icee and my princess Sophie. Two very picky eaters.

By the looks of it, I think it was a success. I even can't stop eating it myself... Even hubby wants more too. I was soooo happy to see them enjoying what I made.

If I did it any one can. Promise. As in PROMISE!

If you have an easy no cook recipe, please share it with me. And I love some tips too.
Please. Pretty please?

No Cook: Pastillas de Leche

I love eating, I love food, I love watching cooking shows and reading recipes but didn't really get to DO IT. I mean the cooking part. I can't blame my parents they both know how to cook, even my brothers do. So, I'm pointing the finger on me. :( I'm not going to attempt on giving explanation of my lack of cooking skills but I'm going to start studying, experimenting the kitchen world. I'm going to pressure myself to really do it this time, and I'm going to document it (for added pressure purposes).

This couldn't be hard, Iv'e added alginates, plaster of paris, dye stones to form dental study cast. I've learned to pull aching teeth and restore all oral cavities... so cooking could be learn, right? (just me, trying to convince myself).

But truthfully, I'm doing this because I really want to. I want to cook for Maury and Sophia. I want Sophia to grow up baking or something like that. I want my family especially my parents to be proud of me when they get to taste what I make. Most especially, I want me to be proud of me.

So, for starters. I'm doing a no cook recipe just so I could have the 'feel' of it. But first, let me introduce to you my guest chef (feeler) my nephew Kuya Icee.

Now for our No Cook Series #2

This is the second 'No Cook' because I consider this as my first. :)
Ingredients

Easy Steps:

Let's showcase the Master Chef's work. heheheh :) Nice Job Kuya Icee.

Hopefully, there's more to this series. (crossing my fingers).

Happy Weekend Everyone.

Look what I found?!?

Ice Pop Maker for P95.00

Perfect for the cold weather, right? thanks to bagyong Mina... tsk tsk... lol

Pardon the excited mommy who can't cook, (but is trying and is wanting to learn), I just really want to make something for Little S and my nephew Kuya I, something within my capability range. And No, bagyong Nina can stop me from making this treat for the kiddos.

so Tada.... easy peasy... Ice Pops... Love it love it. Got the idea from here. Check it out she has plenty to share. :)

Kuya I

Little S
My two valuable kiddos, who inspite the very cold weather, consumed all the icepops I made :)

Happy Me :)

PS:  Mommies, out there if you have any tips or recipes that I can learn from please give me a poke... I'm hoping I can still learn to cook before the year ends. :(
