Weekly Snipppets: Long Weekend

"Family always comes first, second to God of course, And every week, I'll save a day to share about our week. I know someday Little S will thank me for this one.And I know someday I will love myself for making this one. You are always welcome to come and visit. And maybe drop some love along the way"  :)

Last week was confusing, because of the holidays (National Heroes Day and End of Ramadan). Wednesday felt like a Monday. It was weird working for only 3 days.. But nevertheless I Thank God for looooong weekends...

We did a lot of stuff and it's hard to summarize it all, maybe I'll make a separate post for each.  But let me try to make a short recap. Hubby and I had a wonderful bonding time with Little S that came wednesday she had a hard time letting us go to work and we had a hard time leaving her. :(

We visited few historical places here in Cebu. It's a thing I've been wanting to do "tour Cebu" because I've been around places as far as US but havn't been to most of the beautiful "must sees" in Cebu. Born and raise.. yeah shame on me. That's why I took advantage of the long weekend.
We already started going to historical places like Mactan Shrine and last Monday we went to Fort San Pedro, Magellan's Cross and Basilica del Sto Nino... And it was really nice there. The last time I was there was when I was in grade 3 for a school field trip, and I don't really remember anything. I might have been there before but I got no memories. And now, I'm so happy doing this with Little S.

It was a very hot week in Cebu, a very good excuse for Halo-Halo and Night swimming with the clan at Cordova Home Village.

My uncle's visit  (mom's younger bro) made it more exciting for all of us especially for Little S and Kuya I.
We visited my other Aunt who just gave birth to a healthy baby boy and I'm happy they asked me to be his Godmother. :)

But the best part of the long weekend... is this. :)

So looking forward for another looong weekend... When will it be?

I wish I could visit historical places there in the Philippines. I'm from Dumaguete and Cebu is just near but haven't had a chance of visiting the Mactan Shrine. Thanks for sharing the photos~what a lovely family you have^_^
