Our little Princess adores and loves butterflies. Luckily for her we found a Butterfly Farm, located in Mactan Cebu just before the crossing going to Sto. Nino de Mactan Church.
They are open 7 days a week from 8 am to 5 pm.
Fee of 150 pesos per adult. 80 pesos for kids ages 5-8 years old. And free for kids younger than 5.
I love their wall arts, very informative. Plus there is something about seeing "Cebu map" that makes me feel warm and at home. I'm truly a Cebuana by heart and I'm proud of it.
Surprisingly, this Butterfly Farm offers more than butterflies, they also put efforts on showing our nation's pride and culture.
There. As soon as we entered the tent where they were contained, we found this, according to our guide, those sponges have water and sugar that serves as the butterflies food.
Butterflies
Did we have fun? Yes. we did.
The price is a little overprice though, maybe because Mactan has lots of foreigner visitors.
Overall , I'd say it was a good Family Time for us. Sophia and Icee had a great time. Sophie got to see her fave butterflies. And the joy I see in my little girl's face is priceless. :)
